Over their lifetime, buildings consume huge amounts of raw materials, natural resources and energy leaving a large ecological footprint. This cannot be sustained for long.

As India’s foremost cement manufacturer, we at ACC Limited are concerned and want to make a difference. We are inspired by Holcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction to join the effort to promote and encourage sustainable construction in India.

Sustainable construction projects are designed to fulfil the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to construct similar projects for their own needs.

There are many ways we can encourage this. By making green cement and promoting its use, by celebrating green architectural design and sustainable construction initiatives in India and by reaching out to those who share these thoughts.
